Perhaps my fingers have clinical dislexia...

So, please excuse the spelling errors in the last blog... Ha! i'm such a dork. Justin woke me up this morning and said, "hey, you should take a look at the blog". I wasn't quite awake yet and thought, "perhpas there is some news on there that i would be excited about". Nope. Just spelling errors! :) What a hoot!

Well, plans have changed on the moving front. We went to go sign some preliminary paperwork for the apartment in Chubbuck on Monday, and we loved it. (We could do without the smell of the 3 HUGE dogs that lived there, but they said they could take care of it.) We could paint and get rid of the horrible pink paint in the living room, and deal with anything else we may have to but we were excited. So, we headed back to the office to finish things up and we asked if we could set a definite move-in date. We were told that the date couldn't be nailed down, there were too many variables. One can imagine that that is not the greatest of things to hear especially when 2 weeks prior they told us to put in our 30 days notice. So, here we are, 2 weeks from needing to vacate our apartment, and no place to live... Needless to say, some words were expressed. We told the manager there that we have another place that we had an offer on that we would take if they could not get us in. You know their response? "It's no skin off our backs if you don't move in here. We have plenty of people that want in here." We left shortly after that and called the landlord of the other place. the next morning we signed preliminary application and called the aparment complex and told them to take us off thier list. We were no longer interested.

So, now we are moving into a HOUSE in Old town Pocatello. It is a beautiful red brick home. 3 beds, 1 bath, DISHWASHER, WASHER and DRYER HOOCKUPS, basement, GARAGE, and a beautiful yard. And the best part is we can be in before our notice is up for this apartment!!! Incredible! The kicker is that the entire upstairs is tile floor. No carpet at all. So we are on the market for some area rugs if anyone knows a good place that has any on sale.

For the area rugs keep an eye out on craigslist they have them from time to time. Houses really are better than apts anyways, its nice to have a yard, and having a dishwasher and washer and dryer on top of it is awesome, which side of old town will you be on? We are in about as far North old town as you can get.

Tiff, that's so cool! And congrats on the no birth control thing. We didn't tell anyone, but Andrew almost did on more than one occasion! Don't get frustrated with it. Enjoy life and roll with the punches. I love your guts!

Jenny, we will be moving on October 4th. Not this weekend but next. Conference weekend. It shouldn't be too bad. Justin's mom and dad are coming down to help with a truck.. so we may not need Geoff's.

Janelle, thanks for the tip. I'm not too keen on buying a used rug though. It just seems a little gross. We live on Hawthorne. It's pretty far north. A lot closer to the Gould street bridge than Benton.

Good luck with the move! Sounds like you've found a nice place. I believe in the dyslexic finger thing. Thank goodness for spellcheck!
