It has been a crazy couple of weeks at our house! Since the beginning of July we have had a constant stream of family for events as exciting as the 4th of July and Kyler's blessing. The morning of the 4th came around and we decided that we'd take Kyler out to his first parade!! How exciting. So, Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Jim and Mommy packed up the truck and braved the public. It was the first time I had seen the Pocatello parade and it was just the right size for a little one of Kyler's age. 30 minutes did the trick! But we sure had a good time.

The most exciting part of the night was the desert!! Our torte had a few problems, but it sure tasted good!!!

The next day we geared up one more time for Kyler's blessing. Justin and I have been teasing that God knew who was blessing the baby that day because it seemed everything went wrong and we just thought it was hysterical. The microphone system wouldn't work and then the other meeting's system was heard in our chapel. Initially we decided to just bless the baby after the meeting, but that plan changed 3 times, and finally, the other ward turned off their microphones
and we all went without them. Justin blessed Kyler and it was beautiful. We had so much family there! It was wonderful to see everyone. Thanks to all of those who came!
This is a 4 generation picture with Kyler, Justin, randy and Ed. It was so cool to see all four of those men together.

We got a good laugh getting Kyler ready for the day. He was so little that my mom had to take in his outfit already. He's supposed to be in shorts, but they look like pants! But the real kicker was the jacket to his little tux. We couldn't alter that and so we just tried it on him to see how big it was. Well, he was drowned in it!! Check it out!
